Cities With The Most Leased Land: Once you Leave Palm Springs and Cathedral City the number of leased land properties drops significantly. However, a couple of exceptions are:
Rancho Mirage - Parts of the West Side of Mission Hills Country CC
Parts of Mountain View Villas,
Palm Desert has Marrakesh Country Club
Indian Wells has a small pocket of private lease land condos
Interestingly not all leases are Indian Leased Land. Some are private leases owned by investors or in one case an oil company. Some communities are undergoing lease land buy out discussions. Lease land buyouts have happened in multiple communities such as Canyon Estates (partial buyout), Seven Lakes Country Club and Waverly Park (those 6 or 7 units remain on a leasehold that is now private) .
