Palm Springs CA Open house from 11am to 2pm Sunday April 19th

2218 Savanna Way Four Seasons Palm Springs CA

Four Seasons in Palm Springs is a gated active adult community built by award winning builder K. Hovnanian.  Once you see one of these homes it is easy to see why there would be an award.

Thoughtful floor plans (see it below) solid upgrades, well built homes.  Generously sized, this home is no exception with 2,023 square feet.  My favorite part is the totally private and separated master suite with dual walk in closets!

Best of all the community is truly a community with an active vibrant club house with many amenities and activities offered year round.  Due to the somewhat seasonal nature of our area sometimes, buyers can be disappointed to find that their "clubhouse" is that in name only. Not so at Four Seasons.  Don't hesitate to check out all the sport courts, pool, spa, fitness and social activities

Happy Easter!

Happy easter c

Happy Easter!

Researching the History of the Holiday you will find many references to springtime, crops being planted, fertility and seasons changing. Whatever your beliefs or traditions we wish you all the best and offer the following as some interesting trivia and facts:

Make  your own natural Easter Egg dyes with this informative site.

Have you ever wondered  why Easter falls on a different date every year?  It is because Easter falls on the first Sunday after the full Moon after the Vernal Equinox.

The tradition of Easter Baskets is said to have started in Germany where the Easter Bunny was called Osterhase and was known to deliver treats to children who would build nests to receive them.

For ancient Egyptians the rabbit was a symbol of the moon so a full moon being used to determine the date of the holiday may have had an influence. A hare was a totemic animal of the goddess Eostre, which symbolized fertility for Spring. Knowing how Rabbits breed it would be easy to see how that legend got started!

Easter Around the world:

Sweden, Easter is celebrated with meals of eggs, herring, and Jansson's Temptation (potato, onion and pickled sardines baked in cream).

Bermuda, people  celebrate Good Friday by flying home-made kites, eating codfish cakes, and eating hot cross buns

and lastly we leave you with some humor!

Chocolate tip:  "If you get melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly."
