The La Quinta area will play host to the 50th anniversary Bob Hope Classic Golf Tournament from January 18-24th. This valley tradition is a huge part of the "season" here in Palm Springs each year.The tournament will draw celebrities and spectators from around the world to the sunny and beautiful Coachella valley. Many people don't know that the tournament raises hundreds of thousands of dollars each year for local charities. Most of this through the Charity Ball. The celebrity entertainer this year is Queen Latifah. This year more than ever that help will be crucial to the charities.
